Olá, I’m Daniel. Here’s the short version.

I’m in my second year of Computer Science at the Universidade de Évora. I started making games at Gamescola as a kid and won its 2020 game jam.

Most of my projects start as a dare to myself and get out of hand. The ones that work end up as devlogs on YouTube.

The rest of my time goes to real software: an inventory app for a national restaurant chain, the backend of neeiue.pt, and Polyot, a hosting company I’m starting with two friends.

424 contributions in the last year.

On GitHub
Most of 2026 went into private repositories: client code, NEEIUE and Polyot.

Pinned repositories. Built to see if they would run.

All repositories

Experience. Real software, real users.

2020 - 2023

Co-owner, Lusitania Network

Portuguese Minecraft server

Co-owner from launch day, when I set up a properly configured survival server. It grew from a free Aternos server to hundreds of players, paid hosting and then to its own machine (i9-12900K, 64 GB of RAM) bought with contest prize money. Eight game modes, from Skyblock to Bedwars, on Minecraft 1.8.9 to 1.19.

2024 - 2026

Developer, inventory app

A national restaurant chain in Portugal

Built with one other developer. Replaced paper stock counts with an installable web app that works offline and syncs later, so two people can count one store together. A count went from about five hours to about one and a half.

2025 - now

Backend developer

NEEIUE, Computer Engineering Students’ Association

Helped build the Java backend of neeiue.pt: student area, admin dashboard, news, events, calendar and merch.

In development

Co-founder, Polyot

Project with two friends

Hosting and custom software for small Portuguese businesses, on low-power machines across several towns. Cloudflare Tunnel, a WireGuard mesh, replicated PostgreSQL and our own CLI.

Education. From game jams to engineering.

2025 - 2028

BSc Computer Science

Universidade de Évora

Engenharia Informática, in my second year.

2021 - 2025

Science and Technology

Escola Secundária de Santa Maria do Olival, Tomar

2019 - 2022

Game development

Gamescola

Game design with Clickteam Fusion and Unity in C#. Won the 2020 game jam.

Placing and breaking blocks, proper camera controls and a lot of optimisation. The video most people find me through.
